We haven't used antler. Currently Rascal gets 1 greenie a day and her teeth finger brushed twice a week with enzymatic toothpaste.

Rosie (chihuahau) loves her Nylabone for tough chewers. Not that she's a tough chewer - it took her a year to get through one small bone - but I tried the softer one, and it was as if she was eating it, and that can't be good. I brush her teeth 3-4 times a week.

Teeth cleaning treats/toys are cool, but id honestly recomend that you go with a tooth brush or wipe thats made for dogs.
It seems to be recomended that we take care of a dogs teeth like we take care of our own.... Clean daily! Just like with people, missing a day is not the end of the world.... but how long would you go without brushing YOUR teeth? ![]() Theres a big trend in LA with anesthesia free teeth cleaning, and i think its worth getting done once or twice a year, but for daily maitenence i bush zoeys teeth! |
