Question My poodle has had elevated liver enzymes for 6 months

My vet doesn't know what is wrong- says could be nothing or related to his IBS that we think he has. we are going to recheck his labs in 4 months . He acts fine other than occasional throwing up. The vet says to keep him on tagamet once a day which I used for about a month last sep when he had a bad stomach episode. So I have started him back on that and hoping for the best. Any similar experiences?

None serious. My first thought was keep him away from Tylenol.
Sure hope it clears up too.

elevated lever enzymes can be rather serious, Id get a second opinion quickly!

Good luck!

I second a second opinion... I have dealt with a number of animals with liver issues... some are minor and the elevation is age related others are caused by disease
