Question Spaying Bang gu??

Bang gu has passed 6 months.. Now, I wonder whether Bang gu should be spayed soon. I heard some people prefer it done after first season, some people prefer before the first season.

I would do whichever is better, but there is no clear cut. I would rather do it before her first season if we are doing it, but seems so terrible thing to do for a only 6 months old puppy.

Should I wait until the first seaon or should I do it now? Your opinion/comments will be appreciated. Thank you..

You will get many varied opinions on this, but I personally would let her have a first season then get her spayed approx 3 months later.

Lydia, I understand why you are confused..

There is tons of information, and so far there is no final conclusion.

there is talk about the hormonal changes can make a female agressive cause male hormones take over.

There is talk about they don't grow enough and get other medical issues if not proper developed.

There is talk that if You DON'T do it, you get cancer and and have to deal with heats, possible pregnancies, fake pregnancies, and possible female dog aggression.

Take your pick..

there is tons, and no final conclusion at all, not enough research is done. Only reason I spayed my pitbull was cause I did NOT WANT the female hormones... I can deal with anything cept female dog aggression due to having an older female dog, and with Missy being a pitbullmix I do not want to take the chance. My next female is likely to be a rottweiler, she will not be spayed, my old lady that is 7 will be spayed in just a few weeks. This is though that now she is old, she is running the risk of the uterus inflamation and she is having breast cancer, so when going in for removal I will remove the uterus too this to prevent it from coming back.

But for me due to not having seen enough evidence one way or the other, I prefer unspayed dogs, but I also keep close check on them and I do not want puppies.
