Hey groomers,

I wanted to know what type of hair styles can you shave or trim your poodles? any site that tells you every style?

Nicky I think the traditional 'poodle' cut was developed to protect the poodle when they were used as hunting dogs. The hair was left on areas that would get cold when they were wet.
I think if you google Dog Fancy magazine you might find more information. They have a lot of advertising but good articles too. I would sugest checking a back issue or two out of your library and reading some issues before subcribing.
I bought a nice yellow reflective vest for Lucy to help her show up in the fog from an ad I found in the magazine.

Thanks for the tips hun..

I wont shave her hair now toooooooo cold!! WE GOT A SNOW STORM HERE A VERY BAD ONE TODAY!!... but i did trim around her eyes.

Im thinking the puppy style or maybe the lamb.. for starters! but later on too cold now!

It's actually not too cold to do it. Both of those trims can be kept on the longer side. It is also good to starot getting her acclimated to having to stand for a while. If you do keep her in a longer coat she will need to be hand scissored rather than clippered... This takes time and patience on the dog.
