Default Pampering a Short haired dog???

So I want to do somthing with Dixie's fur, but I don't know what since she's a short haired dog. What can I do to make her look extra nice for her play date with Harley? (Harley is kon123584's dog by the way. haha) so...any suggestions?

Dixie will look just fine the way she is! She is a cutie and it won't take Harley long to know that. Why mess with a perfect dog? :O)

I think that sounds absolutly perfect ^_^ My baby girl wont be breeding of course (she's spayed and Harley neutered) but first impressions are very important. lol

I too think your dog looks beautiful just the way she is! But if you really want to do something special, I believe there is some sort of color you can buy and sort of "paint" her coat. It's harmless (as far as I know, but I have never spent any energy on checking what sort of tests - if any - have been done), and either washes or brushes right out again. If the dog winds up "improved" or not I suppose depends both on taste and skill...

Example.

AAACCCCKKKK! Please don't paint Dixie green!!! Bath her with some white shampoo for dogs and a little perfume. I'm sure Harley will love her just the way she is.

I promise I won't paint her green for her play date ^_^ I do however think that stuff would be cute for Haloween Takin my little cousins out and Dixie's got a little doggie costume of her own I'm working on A bumble Bee! So thanks anyway for te suggestion Monstermom. I'll use the idea for her little haloween gig
