Talking Rascal living up to her name

Hubby takes her to the vets every 5 to 6 weeks to have her anal sacks emptied.
Well yesterday she tried to jump back into the car when he got her out to take her into the office
Rascal is no dumb doggy She knows what she is going in for.
On way out she was baying like crazy. She couldn't get out fast enough.
Poor baby! I guess she doesn't like someone sticking a finger up her butt!

Cheynie has always been "interesting" to take to the vet. She sings the whole way there, howls at the ceiling fan in the waiting room, and doesn't want to go through any doorway unless I am going with her. At her last vet visit, all they wanted to do was weigh her. There is one of those black mat scales in the common area outside the exam rooms. Cheynie was having no part of it. Up on her back legs, she backed up against the corner of the walls and howled that the entire place could hear her. I had to peel her off the wall and convince her that they were not going to eat her. Then when it was time to leave, she all of the sudden decided she liked it there and I had a hard time getting her to leave!

Two of mine aren't thrilled about the vets. Dunny acts stubborn and Annie acts like we are punishing her by taking her to the vets. Biggie, on the other hand when he's not sick and just going for a checkup, walks around like he owns the place, and is a little wild. Luckily one of the vets loves "dogs with personality" as she calls Biggie.

It's good to hear other stories of vet visits

Leo also has to get his done every 6 weeks or so. Like Rascal, he knows exactly what's going to happen, poor little thing. When we pull up in the car park, the vets is on the right and a pet shop on the left. Leo never ever wants to go right, and will do all he can just to go pick some treats out
