Default Where Is My Supper!

As I have said, I cook for Sir Moose due to his live disease and he eats every night about 6:30. Well, Saturday after getting up outside decorations and lights in the bushes, holly, on the house, etc, I was pooped and fell asleep and was late getting his supper started. Have to chop the apples, sweet potatoes and carrots that I cook with the rice in the chicken broth. Also been added frozen green beans and cut the up. And 3 times a week a tiny piece of chicken liver cut up and cooked in with that stuff. I buy the liver and then divided the, up, rap in plastic and freeze and taken one one as needed.

anyway, I was late getting it started and had it cooking and went out on the patio. Cardinals had been at the feeder so I took my camera to see if I could get pictures Jerry came out and Sir Moose followed. It was clear as day that he was trying to convey to us that it was past his supper time, why wasn't it ready. Of course it got cooked, I chilled it down with some ice and he got to eat about 30 minutes later.

I am convinced that my two have internal alarm clocks...you are not allowed to "forget" anything they want /think they need or deserve/or feel they are entitled to either or you are faced with the saddest and most guilt-inducing four tees you have ever seen!

I agree with JGLI. I think my dogs and cats have internal clocks. Don't know why I even need to wear a watch.....

I know they must have some "clock" because when the time changes, it throw Sir Moose off. Heck, it throw me off and I have clocks in every room. And some can even count!

IO made my ex DIL's sister so mad. She has one child born when she was 41 and he is no 6 and never slept in his room--in bed with themuntil about 6 months ago. Still has pacifier at night. They bought a place not to far from the Brazos River so the boy could "enjoy" wildlife. But she is so terrified of him getting bitten by a snake or sider, he isn't allowed to play outside. He is in K at private school and she volunteers and works at the school so she can be with him.

Anyway, a couple of years ago she was talking about how smart he was, smarter than any kids his age, blah blah a and said he could count to 5. This on Facebook. Really insulting to other kids. I guess I should not hae done it but I replied "I had a dog that could count to 2. Buck (golden retriever) got two treats on his pillow every night. I would put them on the pillow in his room and leave andhe would eat them and stay on the bed. But if I only put one treat on the pillow, he got down and followed me. He kne the difference between 1 and 2. : Okay, I know that was a little nasty, but the way she was always letting everyone know her child was smarter than theirs was getting a bit much. She dropped me as a friend after that. No loss.

Little Lucy has just learned how to ask for her supper. She always relied on Big Mama cat to remind me it was time to eat, and Big Mama never missed telling me loudly that it was that time. I felt so guilty for at least 2 weeks after Mama passed because I would forget to feed Lucy at the proper time! She has finally started telling me "it's time" lol.
