Default Sir Moose Nailed A Skunk

We had seen some "unwanted" bugs in the house and got the bombs to bomb it. Were trying to decide what to do for 4 hours when our youngest son stopped by and we were talking about it and said to come for burgers on Thursday. Said no, we didn't want to leave Sir Moose, our Great Pyrenees outside for that long and he said to bring him with us.

We got over there about 4:30 and Sir Moose, who had never been there before, had to investigate every nook and cranny. We watched a Star Wars movie and about 6:30 Randy went out to put the burgers on Sir Moose went out with him. They have a wood deck with two steps down to the ground. The backyard slopes down towards the bay. Anyway, Sir Moose started investigating the yard and went down the long side yard--entire yard is fenced in with 6 foot wood fence. Suddenly he came charging down that side of the of the house, past the deck and down to the far corner of the yard where he nailed that skunk.

Only thing------it is a yard ornament, not the real thing. It was sitting on a block of some kind and he knocked it off the block. Luckily nothing was broken. Randy came in laughing so hard he could hardly tell us what had happened. Said he had no idea old Sir Moose could move that fast. We are just thankful it was a resin, not a flesh, blood and "stink spray" skunk!

Thank goodness it's yard ornament! I don't think Sir Moose would like a bath in tomato juice!
