Default What word or Phrase do you use...?

Hey everyone! Just curious for those who crate train their dog, what word or phrase do you use for your dog to go to their crate?

For Dyno I use a few differnt phrases depending on the circumstance.

At Agility class to send him from a distance after a run to sit in the kennel and stay I have "Get in your kennel"

And if I'm setting him in there close I just use "crate"

'In' or 'bed time' depending on time of day, although when Joe has to go into his house when we're going out, he always gets a biscuit or 2, so once he sees his treat he tends to run in waiting anyway

We don't use a crate and Sophie snoozes on our bed until we turn in for the night. I think it's about using the same phrase in the same tone everytime. No matter how deeply she's snoring hubby just has to say softly " Okay, it's time, where dya sleep?" and Sophie's instantly up and wobbling to her bed on the floor. It doesn't work if anybody else says it or if he deviates from where do you sleep.

"Kennel" or "bed".

The book I was reading when I started crate training said to use "Kennel Up" or something along those lines.

"Kennel" or "Kennel up". My boys will go right into their respective crates at work.

We use 'crate' for Damiri for going into her crate.

We use 'kennel up' for Zen for going into a crate or into a vehicle, which is what he was taught as a racer. Damiri responds to 'kennel up', as well, for both crate and vehicle.
