I am thinking of dying all three of my goldens Hunter's Green.
Hubby, long haul trucker, got in Friday and we went to get a couple of new rocker/recliners. The hunter's green were so beautiful, so cool and refreshing and would go so perfect in our "nature livingroom" (pictures of ducks, deer, goldens, etc on the walls, shelves of what nots of animals, sea critters, etc) and the bar at the end of the livingroom has hunter green counter tops. But anyone who has a light color dog that sheds knows what the fur looks like on cdark green---as bad as on black. SO we went thru all the color choices and finally decided on a light brown with gold worked in. But if i dyed the dogs I could.....naw, I wouldn't do that to them. Buck, our 11 year old golden has his on room and full size bed. We also bought him a new Sealy mattress as the old one was rather lumpy. He didn't care about the lumps, but when we have a house full of company, he has to give up his bed and we felt compnay was not crazy about a lumpy bed. New stuff arrives Thursday, there is still time to dye the dogs and change colors for the new rocker/recliners. No, I gotta stop thining that way.

First dyed dog I ever saw as a pink poodle and I thought it must have knocked a can of paint over on itself. Then I learned she dyed that dog to match the season.
On a couple of boards people actually didn't know this was a joke and was worried about what dye would do to my dogs as they had never heard of dying dogs. I quickly assured them I was totally joking. My love my goldens goleen coats.

No, one on one of my all breed boards works at a "dog beauty shop" and named the brand used, etc. But it is not something i would do. That pink poodle looked absolutely horrible.
