thank you everyone for your responses! I will say though, that since this post, we've been hard at work clicker training autumn...and with great success i might add! its crazy to think that a click and a treat can do such magical things! lol

the clicker training really seems to be doing the trick! im quite impressed with it. The youtube links for the girl that does dogmantics were/are really helpful. shes got quite a ways to go still, but time and patience will get the job done...well..ive got my fingers crossed!

I love using a clicker. That's 100% of how Dyno's tricks are done, and some obedience. I feel like you get a much better learned behavior rather than a forced behavior.
