Default 200 Labs need homes

Received this through my chessie email list. Yet another reason not to breed your purebred pup if you're not a breeder. Sad that they may have to euthanize 200 labs.

A breeder in OH has gotten in over her head and now the courts have stepped
in. She had 200 Labs in her house! A judge has ordered her to cease and
desist. Two Lab rescue folks are trying to place as many dogs as possible.
They are Sara Muir (Kisco Labs) in NY and Amy (don't know her last name) in
OH. If you can help in any way, please contact Amy at 216-883-1533. It is
not known if the judge will release them out of state but Amy hopes to
convince him she has foster homes lined up and surely that is preferable to
euthanasia.
Sara can be reached at [email protected] Be sure to put OHIO RESCUE in the
subject line.
Please help if you can.
Cross posting is highly desired!
thanks,
Marcia

How sad, it never ceases to amaze me how anybody can keep so many dogs, they surely miss out on TLC . Lets hope the poor things are rehomed to loving families soon,

I hope they go to a good home. They should do some time! That is pathetic...and cruel!

My gf and I just took a lab mix to a lab rescue recently and they were able to place him right away. I wish there were more organizations like them throughout the US, especially considering how often events like the above occur. I hope they're able to place them all.

I Live In New York And I Know That If Peta Knows About This, They Will Do All That They Can To Stop The Euthanizing Of These Dogs. This Is Sick. If The Judge Does Not Release Them, Then He Has To Live With That Pathetic Decision
