Default Pumpkin Treats

My "fur kids" just love these and I hae to keep them made up. If Sophie, the golden retriever even thinks we are going to be around the fridge she sticks to us like a tick on a hound dog's ear.

PUMPKIN TREATS
1 can solid pack pumpkin (not the ne with spices, etc added)
3/4 cup dry cream of wheat or cream of rice
1/2 cup dry powdered milk.

Mix well and drop by spoon onto cookie sheet either sprayed with cooking spray or covered with parchment paper (I use parchment paper)and bake at 300 for 25-30 minutes. I use a heavy duty industrial cookie sheet so bake mine for 30 minutes. Cool completely and store in air tight container in fridge. They are somewhat rubbery & chewy. Since they do not expand, the size placed on the cookie sheet will be the size they are. I make mine a little smaller than a vanilla wafer cookie.
