Wll that's good but will add never leave them unsupervised while they are pups they should be fine instill good behaviour traits in each pup and you will be fine Come on little Becky you can do it! Glad you have seperate bowls too

Hi. You know how much she actually weighs and that she is underweight. Did the vet tell you how much she should weigh at this point? What puppy food have you chosen to feed? Satin balls are not ideal for puppies, for a number of reasons. You can feed them as an occasional treat, but they are not a puppy food for sustaining growth. Do you know what she was being fed that she was throwing up?

Did the vet happen to say anything about the pup having Acid Reflux??

After reading all your posts in this thread that is what comes to mind for this pup.

The other thing to point out is females tend to be lighter than the males! While I applaud you for gettting her some more weight on, don't over do it!! As it's harder to to take excess weight off than put it on. Is Becky drinking yet?

Great sounds like she is on the mend allready And good for you for reducing the wheatabix so it is just dog food I hope you didn't put sugar on the wheatabix!!! Not good for a puppy or a adult dog Good thinking on the puppy milk to so she's getting some liquid in her eventually try and wean her off the milk and on to water though! Any luck with her pictures yet?

Glad you got her to a vet!

I would not consider Pedigree a high quality puppy food. Look into foods like Canidae, Taste of the Wild, and Blue Buffalo. If you are on a tighter budget, there are Nutro formulas that are more affordable, and Natural Choice. They are all better than Pedigree. Any dog food that you can buy in a super market is usually a low quality food that is best avoided.

If cost is your biggest issue here, keep in mind that foods like Pedigree are mostly corn, which is a filler that the dogs get nothing out of. Most people find that if they switch to a higher quality food, they end up spending about the same amount of money because the dog eats less. They have to buy twice as much Pedigree, so it actually evens out. A high quality food is mostly meat, so the dog digests it better.
