Default How to feed raw- basic videos

This is just really basic. Now- I add a little kibble ground up but only because I live on a mountain top- and we loose power alot. That way the dogs are use to it.
I also add tripe to the mix.. so Here we go.. PLEASE REMEMBER- raw is not something you do one day then back to kibble. Kibble digests slower than raw- and will slow down the bone process of taking out the nutrients. A raw fed dog the stool with also desenagrate- turning to ash in the yard within a few days.. Makes total sense or the world would have uh been covered in uh by now if the stools did not descenagrate quickely.. Raw fed adults are fed at 2 percent body weight- ie 1 percent twice a day- so a 100 pound dog gets one pound twice a day.
These 4 videos were made for another poster on another forum- but its very simple to do to get started.
Video one http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=2cx9h74
video two http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=2q9ymb5
video 3 http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=300779v
video 4 http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=2ufr7o6

I feed a little veggie because if they caught a rabbit etc they would eat the stomach which would include grasses/ beta carotine veggies. Some do not- but I found it aids in digestion to have something. It could be sweet pototoes, yellow squash- whatever is in season- but carrots are the favorites here..

If anyone wants to know how to feed their dogs what amount of meat- please pm me or leave a reply.. I am more than willing to help..
with over 20 years under my belt in raw, I can tell you how much to feed your dog based on weight of meat.
To feed my 4 kibble would cost me 3 times as much as I do on raw... NO KIDDING....

Default Raw

What a great idea for people just changing over to raw,I wish I had seen this when I was changing,I can remember I was petrified even though I had read as much as I could, but I belong to a breed specific forum and a lady on there telephoned me every day from America with help and advice.
This is great

I feed puree'd veggies as a normal part of their diets. If you put them through a juicer then a blender with pulp and juice the dog can actually digest them and get the nutrients out of them. If you feed them whole they come out whole the next day. Dogs lack the ability to digets whole fuits and veggies.

Adopting just one Greyhound may not change the world... But I'm certain the world will change for that one Greyhound.

I wish I had one- I just use a very old food processor... Please remember- in this mix you can add whatever. Currently I add tripe and it grinds it to a pulp... lol.. I just wanted to show people how easy it was to do.
