Dear Fellow Dog Owner,

Because you asked to be notified, I'm sending you this special alert.

On August 14, 2013, The Proctor and Gamble Company announced it is recalling specific lots of Iams and Eukanuba dog and cat foods due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

Thanks for posting this. I get these emails, but the link in my email didn't work. Dunbar doesn't eat their food, but does eat their lamb/brown rice biscuits. Luckily they were not on the list.

It's really gettting quite bad now these recalls and P&G are a trusted household brand for years in the Uk and abroad too Glad the recall has happend! But where is the Salmonella coming from other food areas or not washing hands more often in a food (albiet cat/Dog Food processing factory) Thanks for letting us know Dee
