Default Is costco kirkland brand kibble good?

People have been telling me that Kirkland kibble is actually pretty good. I wanted to get some more opinions and was thinking about buying a bag to try it out since it is half as much as I'm paying now for kibble. Right now I am feeding Roxie Salmon Taste of the Wild. She absolutely loves it and her coat is wonderful. I don't expect Kirkland to compare to TOTW's quality but if it is up there then I may think about trying it out.

Have you tried scoring it with Vagrey's kibble scoring system?

If my memory serves me correctly, I do believe it's an ok kibble.

We feed Rascal Salmon & Sweet Potato. We fed Lucy another one right up to the end but I can't remember which one. We have liked all flavors of that brand. I think it is a good one.

Coscto brand actually isn't all that bad given it's a store brand name. I was impressed when I read the ingredients list.

There are certainly better foods out there. But if you are on a budget, I would say that Cosco's dog and cat food is probably one of the better foods you can buy for the price.

Most times, you get what you pay for, but the costco brand is pretty decent for the price. IMO

Yes, they are. The Kirkland Signature Chicken and Lamb formulas have consistently scored well above average in terms of ingredients (94). Very good foods for the price.

The Kirkland grain-free options, Nature's Domain brand, score slightly lower, but still above average (90). Pricey for the quality, but not a bad value.

Kirkland dog foods are made by Diamond, and are almost identical to the Diamond Naturals and Diamond Naturals Grain-Free lines, in terms of ingredients.

Awesome, thanks vagreys! Very helpful information. I'm going to try out the Kirkland Lamb formula and see how Roxie responds to it. I just moved out by myself to be closer to college so I'm budgeting and I also don't know any places around my area that sells Taste of the Wild.

Thank you vagreys. It was the lamb one we fed Lucy. We may go back to it now that we are fairly sure Rascal doesn't have food allergies. (just spring ones)
