Default Raw ribs ok?

Hi, can I give Joe (EBT x lab) raw rib (i think) bones? He usually has knuckles but when I asked for bones suitable for dogs, I was given a bag of rib looking things. I have 2 bags of the bloomin things! LOL!

Raw ribs are fine for smaller dogs... Larger dogs tend to be able to break them up into pieces they can swallow, which are not always the size they SHOULD be swallowing.

I'm in agreement with Louuie. I would not give rib bones to a larger dog. There's too much risk of splintering.
