Exclamation How do I make my puppy eat raw meat again?

Hi,
I have a puppy that is 8 months and he used to love raw meat but after we left him at a friends house for 2 months he doesn't eat raw meat anymore. Now he only likes to eat cooked meat and ive heard that dogs can get sick by always eating cooked meat.
So how do I get my puppy to eat raw meat again?

Thank you in advance

Taylorlucky13, welcome to the forum! What kind of pup do you have? What are you currently feeding him?

Thank you DeeLind7 and techie!

DeeLind7- My puppy is a Maltese x Chihuahua and he is eight months old. He currently eats dry food, but he only likes it if it has a bit of cooked meat in it.

What kind of dry food are you feeding him? There is nothing wrong with adding something to dry kibble. I do with all three of my dogs. I add left over dinner to their food. Mind you, I do not add any fat at all, just meat and vegetables. If I don't have any leftovers, I do have a stash of canned food that I mix in their kibble. For my Chi, I add a teaspoon, and for my collies, I add about 2 tablespoons. I also add a little bit of water to their kibble. I feed mine Blue Buffalo grain free kibble, and Nature's Variety canned food. You may want to look at the thread by vagreys, kibble rating. It is an excellent source of finding the right kibble for your dog. We just had a thread on raw feeding, that was just awsome. You may want to check it out....

Do you know what your friends were feeding him, that might have turned him off of his raw diet?

They probably gave him human food because last time I went to their house I saw them give their dog cooked curry chicken wing... But they also said they fed him tuna cause he loved it. So after eating food like that he might of found raw meat not as nice
