Default Feeding a Large Breed Adult

I was wondering what your thoughts are regarding what to feed a large breed adult dog. I know during puppy-hood large breed puppy food is recommended. But how about after the dog has reached full size (2-3 years old). Is it still recommended to give a large breed adult food or would food like the the Kirkland brand be sufficient? I still have LOTS of time to figure out what to feed my big boys, but I was just wondering what others with large/giant breeds do in respect as to what food the dog gets later on.

Kirkland is decent ..You need to seek a moderate high protein( most okay 26-30%) moderate to lower fat ( most large breed foods are 10-15%) and check the calcium to phosphorus balance ... my girl eat the puppy mixed with no grains and my cats eat the cat

Something else you may want to keep in mind when feeding a large breed/giant dog is care for their joints, so adding in some type of glucosomine/chondrotin supplement is probably a good idea.

Large dogs support large amount of weight and they are stressed especially in the joints. You should always watch the dog's diet. Weight gain means extra stress on the dog.
Money will buy a fine Papillon dog but only kindness will make him wag his tail.
