Talking Walk in the...yard?

I love to walk my dog! I use to walk her to the park and play with her for hours, or just hang out, every chance I got! That was when I lived in So-Cal, the city of course (moved in february). Now I live in Nor-Cal and we couldn't be happier! since I'm out of school I get up in the morning and everyday we walk around our yard (which is 14 acres! were moving again into a 20 arce peice of land!) and we can't get enough! We play frisbee, race (I always lose of course ), just go for a walk, or if my mom takes us, we go swimming in the lake! We have so much fun, and I've realized a huge difference in her! He seems more happy, energetic, and I've even realised me and her mave a much greater bond then we did when we lived in the city! She use to be really submissive, never really liked to play tug-o-war or was afraid to rough around on the floor. Now she trusts me a lot and listens alot more! She can roam around without a leash (even though she usually walks beside me or right behind me) We even run together! and yes I mean together, she runs right beside me and wont run ahead unless I tell her it's ok. She learns quick, practicly tought herself shake and roll over! But I've changed alot too I've realised, I seem to be more patient with her, and not so quick to get mad if she does something wrong...there's alot too that I could go on for days with, but I'll cut you some slack and stop here, and if your actully read this whole thig I congradulate you!
Dogs are not 'almost human', I know no greater insult to call one as such.

Wow, 14 acres of land. That is amazing and going for 20!!!! I bet your dog is loving every minute of it. It is amazing how much difference a bit of extra exercise can make to the dog's personality and well-being. I have noticed the same with my dog when I started to run with him. He loves it.
