Default Rally

Finally have one other person interested in doing CKC Rally. She has all the signs made up and we can set them up where we do Obedience when the weather gets cold. They are not using it right now so we can set up a course and leave it up.

The one problem is that although we have directions for courses, I cannot find out anywhere how far apart the signs should be. She has a Rotty and I have Kris so we have two big dogs, hoping to get more later on.

Good luck in setting up the rally. Let us know how your work progresses.

So far the one sign that I cannot seem to get is the forward and then a side-step to the right and continue walking. How do you get a dog to sidestep with you?

Interesting question. I have no idea. Have you found directions for setting up a rally?

We have some course maps, just have to figure out how far apart to put the signs. Seems like it is not that important as long as you give the dogs enough space to perform the different stations.
