Default Treibball

Does anyone here do Treibball? I've started training Harvey in treibball and would love to have someone else to discuss it with if anyone here has experience with it!

Sorry, not here. However, I'm sure someone will come along that does.

I am interested in it. We touched on it briefly in obedience class but most of my trainers clients are into protection work. We are doing a barn hunt class now which is enjoyable, and I will probably get my dog into agility in the fall. Treiball is a great way to utilize herding dogs needing to put things away. My border collie is always trying to put his slobbered on toys in my clean laundry basket.

I'd love to do it with Sadie but can't find any local places that it is done.

It's been great fun so far. =) There are no local places here that do it either. Not that Harvey could actually take a class or compete with other dogs anyways. I'm just teaching him how to do it using online tutorials and whatnot. I think it'll be really good for his mind once I really have him doing it. The training wears him out, I can tell, so I imagine doing the actual sport will be very stimulating for him.
