Default Agility

Well, I have been busy printing off and filling in some entries for trials. We have our local trial at the end of August, then there is a trial on each of the following weekends. They are all outside and two day trials. After the three trials there are not any very close until an indoor trial in November which is a nice trial to go to, the only one we stay in a Motel for, the rest it is camping.

So far, I am going to try and get Remmy's last two Q's in Advanced Snooker so he can get his Advanced Games titles, then he will be in Masters in everything. Lucy I will enter Starter Standard and Jumpers and if I get Kris' AAC registration back in time, I will enter her also, if not it will be back by the second two trials. (Forgot I had not sent in for it till last week).

Some where I am going to try and fit in some CKC Rally and Obedience for Kris but so far it conflicts with the Agility.

Sounds like you and your dogs will be busy. Good thing you got back to walking when you did

It is so great to hear that you are "back in action" and I'm looking forward to hearing how it all goes..and, of course, your pictures!

We hauled all the Agility equipment into town where we are having our trial this weekend. We have it at one of the ball diamonds which is nice because it is fenced all round. Set up our ring and the equipment for the first class tomorrow. We also set up our shade tents ready for the morning but did not put them right up as it was really windy. Made sure they were tied down well so they will still be there in the morning.

There are quite a few people camping that are from the other places farther away. Have to be there at 6:45 am tomorrow as have to get both Kris and Lucy measured and you get a chance to put them over the three pieces of contact equipment (Dog walk, A-frame and Teeter). Will let you know how we do and hopefully get some videos. It is harder at our own trials as you are either running your dog or helping out so not as much time as at a trial somewhere else where you help out but not as much.

Well, I did not manage to get any photos or videos but someone there took this picture of Kris jumping.

We had gale force winds all day, many people lost their shade tents even though everyone was trying to take them down as quick as they could. The jumps were getting blown over all the time. Kris did pretty good for her first trial and once she settled down, it was all so exciting, she got better every class. Lucy, is going to be great too, just needs more experience. Remmy only ran in one class and as usual loves his tunnels too much.

Love the photo of Kris. Sounds like you and the "kids" are going to be so busy, but oh what fun! As the others said, looking forward to more photos and hopefully some videos. Good luck in all your trials.
