How big is too big for agility?

So I just got this Australian shepherd German Shepherd mix named Max and we would love to go very far in agility with him. I have been doing agility for 2 years now with our previous dog. He was good but never good enough to get past open. Max is 24 inches tall. He is large but very slim and agile at about 69 pounds. He has a lot of energy and a tremendous amount of drive. So I was wondering, is max's size going to stop him from going far in agility?

I don't do agility, but from videos I've seen, I would think Max would do fine.

I've seen great Danes doing agility so I think max is fine for it. But, you could always ask an agility instructor near you what they think.

I don't think the size matters at all. It's the speed that counts.
