Default Skijoring with shelter dogs

I think this is mostly for FrodosMom... and it does look like fun (I still think I'd like it better if there wasn't snow involved ). What a terrific thing to do with shelter dogs:

Looks like fun for dogs and humans. I especially like that someone is treating shelter dogs to such a fun activity.

That's awesome!! I first read terrifying LOL We had a guy who would come to our shelter and run the hyper ones with his bike. Puppies LOVED it..

Its perfect way to get them to calm down so they can be more obedience and after that easier to adopt out.. <3 Wish more shelter would do these sort of things!

I agree with MrJohn and Techie, have the snow, could get the skis and Kris would love it but I would be flat on my backside.

What a great article!!! I have no desire. I have never been graceful in snow and ice. Maybe if I was younger.....maybe.

I did see that article. Actually, cross country skiing is less complicated than it looks. I am the extreme most uncoordinated person on the planet. That being said, I like to do stuff. It seems I have a guardian angel because I do the most spectacular falls and trip over everything. But I cross country ski, ride road bikes, go on trails and dirt roads with mountain bikes, yet I still walk among the living.. don't be afraid..do stuff! just maybe do it with someone who can help you stand back up on the skis after the dog pulls you down in an effort to chase squirrels. I would not have any experience with that.
