Default Agility training

Well, it finally seems like we will be getting back the use of our indoor arena in town. After being closed for almost two years, they have finally decided it is not going to fall down after all. Politics! (They wanted to build a swimming pool in that spot but it finally got voted down)

The Agility equipment has been all moved into storage there and hopefully by next month we will be able to start training again. Our first trial is in March so it will give us time to get them ready.

Remmy has been doing fine, no more seizures but I am getting his blood work done again before I start training to make sure his liver is working alright.

Happy New Year to everyone and I am looking forward to lots of fun doing Agility.

I'm glad your indoor facility will be back open. Indoor facilities are hard to come by. I'm blessed to live south where we can train outdoors most of the year.

Well that's great news! Figures it took 2 years for someone to finally make a decision. Why am I not surprised. Fingers crossed that Remmy will be back running again!

Took Remmy into the Vet this morning for his blood test and bile test. Won't know the results until Monday. The Agility training is going to start the 15th of March so wanted to get him checked out now in case he still has a problem.

He has been fine all winter, no seizures and seems perfectly healthy. He has lost a pound of weight but when I asked the Vet what she would recommend I feed, she didn't push Science Diet (in fact they don't have it, have some other brand) but mentioned Iams or Eukanuba, neither of which I would want to feed.

Think I will stick to Canadian Naturals, Small bites, Turkey & Salmon Dog Food. It is 25%protein, 15% Fat, 4% Fiber, 10% Moisture. It has Omega 6 & 3 and Glucosamine. Seems to have good ingredients.
Turkey Meal, Salmon Meal, Sweet Potato, Alfalfa, Spinach, Broccoli, Apple, Blueberries, Pears, Bananas. Does it sound like a good food? Not altogether sold on all the fruit and veggies but probably won't hurt and no grains.

I'm not sure about the foods, but glad to hear about him not having any more seizures.
