Default Best of Breed Bred by Exhibitor

Our Eukanuba week was just incredible. It was so exciting, and so much fun to see so many beautiful dogs.

We started the week off by winning Best in Sweepstakes on Wednesday. We then went on to win Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed on Thursday at Gulfstream Rottweiler Club's Specialty show in an entry of 71 Rottweilers. This finished her Grand Championship title with a 5 point major. Friday we won Best in Sweepstakes again, and made it to the very end of Best of Breed through 2 cuts.

Saturday was a day off. Sunday we made the cut in Best of Breed, and then, my crowning achievement of the weekend, we were selected as the Best Bred By Exhibitor Rottweiler. This meant we went to compete in the Bred by Exhibitor Working Group. While we did not make the cut in that group, it was an amazing experience, and I am SO PROUD of my puppy.

If you like, you can watch the Bred By Exhibitor Working Group competition on the AKC website.

She just turned 15 months old on Monday, and this is an incredible amount of pressure on a young dog this age. In addition, she is in standing heat this week. She never let down on me once. Every time I asked her, she delivered. She was like a locomotive on the end of my lead every time we went around the ring. She never failed to stack and freebait, and deliver attitude and expression.

Thanks to all of you who have shared my joy and excitement over this puppy. I am sure the best is yet to come with her!
