Default You/me and your best friend fitness

I am trying to put together some sort of mini "how to" about "Get and Stay in shape"
where both of us (my dog and I) could exercise and gain fitness by developing a simple program.
Obviously items on the list like Weight lifting does not work
Running, riding a bicycle are the kind of actions that will do fine;
but it could become boring, thus looking for new ideas.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Walking. Jogging, if your dog is young enough
Weight lifting: Add weights to your doggies backpack.

Thanks
I was kidding about weights, but it looks to be a good idea!

Agility training (and competition if you both like it), as part of your program.
