Smile Agility/Flyball

Do any of you guys do agility or flyball (or another competitive sport) with your dog(gies)? I am thinking of getting Max (my black lab) involved in either agility or flyball. I wrote to the AKC and they sent me some info. BTW, have any of you trained your dog for the Canine Good Citizen Test? I want do do that with Max too!

LOL...mine is too! I prefer "hard to motivate"! Though as both my dogs mature, they seem more eager to retrieve. Agility dogs, they'll never be!

Both of them have passed their CGC though. They're pretty mild mannered, so I think that helped. The reason most of the dogs I've seen fail was for jumping on the administrator.
Good luck! It's a lot of fun!

My dog loves agility.allthough shes not fully trained yet she has such a high energy level and if there is anything on the ground she purposly jumps it.once we were in a double tennis court, and one net was up and one net was down. i threw the ball and she ran around the net, then decided to return over the net! she cleared it beautifully and i suppose it was around 3 ft! i really enjoy agility for my dog becuase she is forced to listen to me if she wants to have a good time, and she has such a powerfull and controlled jump and she tuckes her self up nicely ove the bigger jumps.mydog to me is kindof like my miniature horse.when i take her to the barn, she runs around the arena jumping all the jumps!but agility is still my favourite dog sport!!
