Default Arthetic 8 Yr Old German Sheppard needs excerises

Does anyone know of GOOD exercises that I can use to help my German Sheppard Duke gain back muscle control. He is just getting stable and I will need to walk him daily to help BUT was hoping someone knew of different exercises I might try to strenghten his back end ...

I agree but I probably have the 'only' german sheppard who will NOT go into the water over his mid drift ... My only hope is to get into the lake and take his fav toy with me in the hopes of getting him to do a 'terribly' funny impersonation of a 'dogstroke'.

I got my GDS to swim by thorwing her fav toy in the lake, when she thought my other dog was going to get it she was off, and we have never looked back. If you've only got 1 dog have you got a friend who can help out.

What part of his back end? His thigh muscles or the area above his tail (lower back) or?
What is he recovering from? This would be helpful to know.
