I'm the proud momma of a wolf, but have owned a few wolfdogs in my lifetime. They are wonderful animals and congrats on having a nice little rescue to be part of your family.
I'd suggest making sure she is well socialized and has a little more than basic commands down pat. Have you trained her to do an emergency come? It's important with all dogs, but my hybrids have always been more difficult and hard-headed, and never wanted to listen when they had their eyes on something they wanted. Emergency calls saved lives on more than one ocassion in my experience.
Other than the socialization and training, these dogs are not much more difficult than your average dominant breed. They are, of course, best in the hands of experienced owners, but they can be great joys for anyone lucky enough to have them warm up.
Good luck with your baby.
