I'm going through something similar... I have Cheynie, who is three, and Timi who is 8 months. Cheynie eats Blue Buffalo chicken and rice adult version, and Timi gets the same food in the puppy version. Most puppies start adult food at one year of age but I might be moving Timi to it a little earlier. He is a very enthusiastic eater (and that may be an understatement ) but he tends to leave some of the puppy food and shows a clear preference for the adult food.
