Some people think that it is better that they don't nip / bite at all, some think that a dog should have a "soft mouth" and know how hard is too hard for a human. It's a matter of preference I think. Whatever you do, be consistent because it is hard as heck to train them not to nip.
I think I'd leave the games of tug until she has stopped biting. My husband insists on playing tug with Zircon and he once got bit hard. Zircie was going for the ball and missed. I refuse to play tug with him for that reason - I like my hands the way they are!
