Larandy, I have been doing some research on wolfdogs just like you, you are right, there are a lot of shady things concerning the world of wolfdogs!

I guess there are some good breeders out there. First of all, I think it depends from what you are looking for. If you want an high content or a low/medium content wolfdog.
I can tell you, if you are looking for a low/medium content, I would chose a Czech or a Saarloos. Low content American Wolfdogs are not very well bred, I’m afraid. They are often F1 or F2 generation, without any selective breeding behind, so they often have bad temperament and bad looks too.
